Recording Studios
Please fill out our Studio Information Form prior to starting your recording project. This allows us to understand your needs and requirements to make the sessions go as efficiently as possible.
In order to avoid confusion during the sessions, please review our Studio Policies prior to starting your recording project.
Although the hourly rate is higher to record in the Creative Ej Theater compared to the studio, many projects can be completed for less money by recording in the theater. Please consult with Creative Ej to determine the best approach for your project.
Treynorth Studio
Creative Ej offers both audio and video recording studios for participants in our programs, as well as outside clients. Our audio recording studio features an Avid Pro Tools HD Native system controlled by a Euphonix Artist Series Argosy console for the finest in digital audio quality and flexibility when making your own CD or DVD.
Our offsite studio features an Avid Pro Tools HD3 TDM Accel system controlled by a Smart AV Elite 72 console for productions requiring maximum power with virtual instruments, effects and signal processors. The TDM system is also available as an option for our main studio.
Our studios are fully compatible with our Creative Ej Theater at The Palace, making your concert DVD or live demo a simple process. Live audio recordings can be done via Alesis ADAT HD, or Pro Tools, which are then mixed in the main studio. Video productions can scale up to 5 camera hi- definition live shoots and beyond. Even if you don’t have any prior recording experience, our staff takes you through the entire process to make sure you achieve your goals, and to make sure you get the highest quality product within your budget.
Creative Ej Theater & Live Recording
The Creative Ej Theater at The Palace is equipped
for live recording. This allows you to capture the
excitement of your live performance or special
event with a high quality recording or on CD. After
the event, all the capabilities of our Main Studio
will allow you to make every instrument and voice
sound its best. We can record either to ADAT HD24
(24 tracks) or to directly to computer running
Logic Pro or Pro Tools (up to 48 tracks).
Video Production
We offer video production for music performances,
special events, and corporate communications.

$50 per hour base rate, includes use of installed software and equipment, and junior producer/engineer
$75 per hour base rate, includes use of installed software and equipment, and senior producer/engineer
Creative Ej Theater at the Palace
$100 per hour base rate, includes use of stage gear, and engineer
Video Production
$100 per hour base rate is typical, varies by project requirements
Please keep in mind that it will take at least 2-3 hours to transfer and edit each hour of video, so a one hour video shoot results in 3-4 billable hours.
Block rate discounts are available subject to availability
Additional charges apply for studio musicians, rental equipment, etc.
